The eye color of a cat is genetically
tied to coat color.
"Pointed" cats
always have blue eyes.
White cats and cats with mostly white markings
can have:
Blue Eyes
Green, Gold or Copper eyes
"odd eyes" (one
eye is blue and another is green or gold)
For most cats with green/gold/
copper eyes, you can find their eye color in the middle of the eye
color spectrum (greenish-yellow to gold). Colors at the end of the
eye color spectrum(deep green or brilliant copper) are usually only
seen in purebreds.
