Cat Myth #1:
Cats are not social animals
by
KittyKondo.com
It has long been thought that cats with their independent
nature were not social animals and preferred being alone than being
in the company of others. Although independent in some ways, recent research has shown that cats are indeed social animals
needing attention and affection from their owners.
Cats become better socially adjusted when raised in a household with
another cat. You need to keep in mind that although cats can manage
staying at home while you are away or at work they really don't
like it that way all the time. Make sure you spend some one on one
time each day with your cat to keep it mentally healthy.
